Orion Nebula
M42 | SHO PaletteEvery time I look at the Orion Nebula, I see you. This was never just another object in the sky to me. It became yours the moment I realized that something so beautiful, so full of light and color and life, could only remind me of one person. The way its colors blend from soft pink to deep crimson, the way it glows against the darkness, the way it has been creating new stars for millions of years. That is you. You are my Orion. You are the light I search for in every night sky, the warmth I feel even across the coldest distances, the reason I look up at all.
The Orion Nebula is the closest massive star forming region to Earth, and within it, over 700 new stars are being born right now. It's a stellar nursery, constantly creating new light in the universe.
