Every time I look at the Orion Nebula, I see you. This was never just another object in the sky to me. It became yours the moment I realized that something so beautiful, so full of light and color and life, could only remind me of one person. The way its colors blend from soft pink to deep crimson, the way it glows against the darkness, the way it has been creating new stars for millions of years. That is you. You are my Orion. You are the light I search for in every night sky, the warmth I feel even across the coldest distances, the reason I look up at all.

Like the stars within this nebula, born from the same cosmic cloud yet separated by unfathomable distances, I find myself reaching across the void toward you. Every fiber of my being burns bright with the hope of connection, of finding warmth in the cold expanse that lies between us. Perhaps what I feel for you, like starlight, needs no medium to travel. It simply is, crossing any distance, defying any darkness, until it finally finds its home.

The Heart Nebula contains a small cluster of stars known as Melotte 15, whose intense radiation and stellar winds have sculpted the gas into its distinctive heart shape over millions of years.

They say the Heart and Soul nebulae are companions, forever drifting through space side by side. I captured the Heart first, but it felt incomplete without its other half. Just like me without you. Some connections go deeper than the heart. They reach into the soul, into that quiet place where words fail and only feelings remain. When I look at this nebula, I see the part of you that I carry with me always, the part that no distance can take away, the part that makes my universe whole.

The Soul Nebula sits right next to the Heart Nebula in the sky. Together they are called the "Heart and Soul" and span over 300 light-years of space, forever drifting as cosmic companions.

They call it a rose blooming in space, and when I captured it, all I could think about was how I wished I could give you flowers that would never wilt. This one has been blooming for millions of years and will continue long after we are gone. That is how I want you to see my feelings for you. Not as something temporary that fades, but as something eternal, always unfolding, always beautiful. If I could somehow reach across the cosmos and pluck this celestial flower for you, I would. Until then, know that every time it appears in the winter sky, it carries my thoughts of you.

The Rosette Nebula's central cavity was carved out by the stellar winds from the hot young stars at its center. The "petals" of the rose are actually vast clouds of gas and dust spanning 130 light-years across.

There is something magical about you, something I could never quite explain no matter how many words I tried. When I processed this nebula and saw its colors emerge, the deep blues flowing into warm gold, I thought of how you appeared in my life. Like magic. Like something out of a story I never thought I would get to live. You turned my ordinary nights into something extraordinary, just by existing. If the universe has wizards, you must be one of them, because you cast a spell on me that I never want to break free from.

The Wizard Nebula contains a young open star cluster called NGC 7380, with stars that are only about 4 million years old. These infant stars are sculpting the surrounding gas into the wizardly shape we see today.

At the heart of this nebula burns one of the most powerful stars in our galaxy, a Wolf-Rayet star living fast and bright, knowing its time is limited but choosing to shine with everything it has anyway. That is how I want to be for you. Not cautiously, not holding back, but with every ounce of light I can muster. The fierce blue arc you see is the star's breath pushing against the cosmos, reshaping everything around it. You reshaped my universe the same way, and I am forever grateful for the beautiful chaos you brought into my life.

WR 134 is a Wolf-Rayet star, one of the hottest and most luminous stars known. It burns at over 60,000 degrees and is shedding its outer layers in powerful stellar winds, creating the bubble-like nebula around it.
